En Octobre 2019, nous finissions à Nashville une tournée américaine harassante mais dantesque de 32 dates en 39 jours. Là, Vance Powell, notre ami et producteur nous a proposés d'enregistrer live sur bandes en 1 jour, 3 titres: une reprise de notre" F the Bass player "( pas encore sorti) de notre "Two Days"(pas encore sorti) et une reprise d'un artiste américain. Au début de la tournée, vu qu'on démarre toujours de Nashville là où notre matériel US est entreposé, Vance nous a proposés 2 choix: Willy Nelson, Neil Young etc... Il fallait évidemment qu'on se sente proche des thèmes de terre, d'écologie, de blues-folk ancré qui sont aussi les nôtres. On a choisi "Rocking the free world" de Neil Young, sauf que Vance nous a dit "Non, too easy for you guys"...et a proposé "Hey Hey My My" , "My MY HEY HEY" en en faisant une version un peu folle. On s'est enfermé 2 jours dans le basement de notre ami Bill Elder, là où on loge à Nashville, pour proposer cette version enregistrée en 1 prise, sur bandes, chant compris dans la pièce.

Neil Young via son management nous a félicité, ce qui nous a complètement ....retourné. Neil étant l'artiste référence en tout chez TIC...

On a décidé d'en presser juste 500 ex pour que cette chanson enregistrée en analogue pur ne finisse pas juste en support digital numérique ce qui aurait été bien...mais pas top.
